1-3: we took a long walk above the beach during high tide and saw the trees all seem to have a sharp asymmetrical shape. I asked mister Beard if they are trimmed for safety reasons but apparently they have adapted by themselves to the shape of the wind that blows against them day after day.

アイスランド人は昔から健康の為に冬は海に飛び込み、温泉であたたまる習慣があるそうです。この１０年あまり人気のなかった冬のビーチは景気が悪くなってから２月でも外の温泉は芋あらい。。。

2-4: maison guerlain

one of the oldest perfume houses of the world, it was created in 1828 when Pierre-Francois Pascal Guerlain opened his perfume store on 42 rue de Rivoli. The above photos are from their store and spa on 68 avenue des Champs Élysées. They have created over 300 fragrances to this day. I tried their Massage Sportif with the room scented in their new fragrance Idylle. Thank you mister Beard for this treat!

I have read that this film took 5 years to create with a budget of over 50 million euros. They sailed across the globe to unfold the story of many underwater creatures, many that I have never seen before. It was inspirational and thought provoking...

*Jacques Perrin is also an actor. He plays the role of the adult Salvatore in one of my favorite films { Cinema Paradiso}.
